“Our Stories” is a place where our families and friends can relay experiences they have had raising or working with a child or adult with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Sometimes these stories will be painful to share, or even to read about, and other times they contain very humorous incidents and reveal the remarkable diversity of lives and successes that these special needs persons manifest.
In April, 2012, one of our family’s son’s Jon Shacklett, was awarded the “employee of the year” designation by his employer Goodwill Industries, Inc. of Tulsa. This video was shown at his award’s banquet.
